Two sides of a line, forever apart,

Each with its purpose, its own unique art.

Left leans to logic, measured and tight,

Right flows with passion, seeking the light.

The left is the scholar, with rules to obey,

Counting the steps on a linear way.

Right is the dreamer, with colours that flare,

Building a castle that floats in the air.

Left wields the pen, crafting sharp prose,

Right paints the picture, where feeling flows.

One whispers reason, the other sings song,

Both halves together where humans belong.

In every decision, they tug and they pull,

A dance of the mind, both empty and full.

For left and for right, though seeming opposed,

Are two halves of a circle, forever enclosed.

  2. So far this is my favorite poem of yours. Sounds like the struggles of twin flames. They can never fully align and yet they’re always entwined.
