Hear, ye halls, this tale of old,
Of shining steel and courage bold;
When dragons woke and darkness spread,
A paladin rose where angels tread.
With helm agleam and banner high,
He swore no evil would slip by.
Through dungeons deep, through caverns grim,
The light of heaven burned through him.
“Stand fast!” he cried, “O lost, take heed!
For justice lives in word and deed!
No tyrant’s lash, no demon’s breath,
Can turn my oath or force my death!”
He smote the fiend, he broke the chain,
He freed the weak from iron’s reign.
Where shadows lurked, his radiance shone,
A beacon brighter than the throne.
And so the bards in taverns sing,
Of Strongheart’s might, the noble king
Of every vow, of every fight,
The paladin crowned in holy light.
Raise high your cups, let voices soar,
For Strongheart’s name shall fade no more!
Through song and story, age to age,
He walks eternal—Shining Sage.
